Mass Reflection

Weekly Mass Reflection Form

Part of the Confirmation program requires you to complete a Mass Reflection Form for each Mass you are expected to attend throughout the year. This means that you will need to complete Mass Reflection Forms for every Sunday throughout the year (yes, even Sundays during breaks!), and for every Holy Day of Obligation.

For each Sunday Mass and Holy Day of Obligation, you may attend Mass either in person (outdoors) or virtually (through our parish live-streams). Then, complete all steps of the form below.

Any Mass Reflection Forms that are missing will count toward an absence; three missing Mass Reflection Forms equal one absence. Only three absences are allowed for the entire year, between missing Mass Reflection Forms and missing classes, so it's very important that you stay on top of this throughout the year!

If you don't remember the readings, read through them again before completing this form. If you cannot summarize the readings and tell us what you got out of them, that defeats the purpose of the reflection form, and it will not be counted.

Need to read the readings again?
Follow the link above, select the date of the Mass you are filling out the form for, and it will give you the readings for that Mass.
The Mass Reflection Form is now closed for the 2020-21 Confirmation year, and it will open again when the 2021-22 Confirmation year begins in the fall. Mass Reflection Forms do not need to be submitted over the summer. Thank you, and see you again in the fall!
Of course, that does NOT mean stop going to Mass! Whether classes are in session or not, all Catholics are expected to attend Mass every Sunday and on Holy Days of Obligation. If you cannot make this commitment, then you are not ready to make a life-long commitment to the Catholic faith and be confirmed!
